About The Position

As an Inventory Control Analyst at our Memphis, TN facility, you will ensure inventory accuracy, traceability, and integrity across assigned areas. You will analyze discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Your work will directly support operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve overall materials management performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in inventory control, materials, or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Ability to analyze data, define problems, and determine root causes of inventory discrepancies.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Windows-based systems and ERP software.
  • Advanced PC skills, including experience with Jabil systems preferred.
  • Ability to write basic reports and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to interpret instructions, procedures, and documentation.
  • Basic math skills, including calculations, percentages, and ratios.
  • Ability to work in a structured, fast‑paced environment with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor all material transactions for assigned areas to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies and errors.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Conduct cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Perform inventory transactions and reporting within ERP and customer systems as required.
  • Support efforts to eliminate manufacturing downtime related to inventory issues.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Engineering, Program Management, and support teams.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of materials management and inventory control systems.
  • Support material handling activities and provide coverage for team members when required.
  • Maintain flexibility for overtime support as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and regulatory requirements.
  • Comply with all company security policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
