About The Position

The Inventory Control Analyst develops, manages, and implements Buc-ee’s inventory systems and controls for non-fuel inventory. This position will be located in our Angleton, Texas office. 25 Days PTO Medical Dental Vision 401k 100% Match up to 6% The essential job functions include, but are not limited to: Design, implement, and maintain automated item level inventory processes utilizing accounting software and peripherals Integrate peripherals with necessary systems for accurate inventory and reorder processes. Ensure accurate accounting and physical control and security of inventory stored in locations Manage cycle count process in non-fuel inventory areas and provide reporting of inventory data Develop, manage and implement function-specific training programs for site level inventory personnel Establish and maintain the working knowledge necessary to develop and effectively integrate processes into the company’s overall business fulfillment system Identify, prioritize, develop, and implement complex cross-functional inventory control process improvement projects that include forward-thinking on project introduction, development, and implementation Complete understanding and knowledge of retail industry inventory processes and controls Liaison between departments and internal and external customers Available to travel as needed Strong judgment skills in analyzing and responding to challenging issues raised by customers and team members Create and analyze ad-hoc reporting Maintain confidentiality Manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently It is an essential function of this job for the employee to work in office/in the employee’s assigned work site. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Business or equivalent experience.
  • 5 Years retail industry experience including retail inventory management, overseeing large inventories and audit procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft product suite required

Nice To Haves

  • PDI Enterprise software experience preferred
