About The Position

The Inventory Clerk works in the Warehouse and Inventory area, implementing and maintaining control procedures as directed. The role supports inventory and production operations by maintaining counts and records, verifying production reports, creating work orders, and tracking product placement. The position reports directly to a Supervisor or Manager and works with all levels of management. The posting notes that clerk positions exist on all shifts, including weekends; this specific position is listed as 1st Shift, with hours of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of experience in warehousing and/or inventory control.
• Experience with the trucking industry, including dealing with truck drivers.
• Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of and up-to-date training in a warehousing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to the Company's overall strategy and direction and to make well-informed decisions.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Publisher and Access is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pallet counts, material usage records, and label inventory.
• Verify production reports and provide production support as requested.
• Create work orders and track placement of products.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of management.
• Learn product code numbers, row inventory levels, and inventory processes.
• Become forklift-certified as a driver, if not already certified.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
