About The Position

The Inventory Clerk evaluates and reviews the company’s overall inventory management. The role assesses inventory levels across warehouses, identifies appropriate product stocking, investigates missing inventory, and evaluates inventory accuracy. The position requires prior experience working in the company’s inventory department and may involve periodic travel, including overnight stays, depending on position requirements. The employee is not responsible for supervising other employees.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of related experience.
Past experience working in the company’s inventory department.
Ability to perform arithmetic using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, and percentages; and draw and interpret graphs.
Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, and graphics applications.
Ability to use moderately complex oral and written communication; may train others, interact with others, and make presentations to department or middle management.
Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.
Ability to occasionally stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods.
Ability to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles and assume awkward positions; may regularly wear personal protective equipment and may be exposed to hazardous conditions, equipment, extreme temperatures, and high noise levels.
Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds and, on occasion, up to 100 pounds.
