About The Position

The Inventory Clerk delivers product to food and beverage outlets and helps ensure that received products meet quality requirements. The position reports to the Inventory Supervisor or Executive Chef and is located at Durant Casino and Resort. The regular full-time schedule is Friday through Monday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wage access is available as an option. The role maintains kitchen storage areas and receives, checks, documents, and stocks merchandise. It follows the First In, First Out (FIFO) approach and Choctaw Nation food safety guidelines for dating and labeling products. The Inventory Clerk also helps maintain clean, safe, and compliant storage areas and informs the Executive Chef about outdated, damaged, or inferior products.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of the organization's products and services.
Basic math and reading skills.
Basic knowledge of food safety practices.
Physical mobility to lift, load, transport, and unload products while performing assigned tasks.
Two years of previous inventory, purchasing, stock, and kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

Organize, clean, label, and maintain kitchen storage areas, including shelves, floors, walls, coolers, and freezers.
Unpack, count, record, and stock received orders in appropriate storage areas.
Audit incoming inventory to verify that invoice items match delivered items.
Stock products using the First In, First Out (FIFO) model so shorter-dated products are used first.
Date and label received products according to Choctaw Nation food safety guidelines.
Inspect assigned areas to maintain an organized, clean, and safe environment and meet cleanliness and storage compliance requirements, including proper storage of chemicals and cleaning equipment.
Inform the Executive Chef about outdated, damaged, or inferior products received.
Review orders for completeness and accuracy, and receive and document merchandise as it arrives.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
