About The Position

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business. The Inventory Clerk will accurately count bulk merchandise in primary warehouse locations, perform appropriate adjustments on inventory levels, and research discrepancies. They will also handle requests for return authorizations, pull product, package and ship returns and recalls, and provide internal and external customer support. Additionally, the role involves assisting with physical inventory, developing and implementing new processes, supporting the Inventory Department with tasks like placing purchase orders, writing narcotic blanks, monitoring service levels, and breaking down deals. Compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules, and DEA regulations is essential. The position requires the ability to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Strong product knowledge

Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

Accurately counts bulk merchandise in primary warehouse locations.
Performs appropriate adjustments on inventory levels.
