About The Position

At CJ Logistics, we seek a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Clerk to join our team and keep our inventory running like clockwork! If you have an eagle eye for detail, enjoy solving problems, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, come join our team! Pay Range: $21.00-$23.00 per hour + $0.75 shift differential Schedule: 1 A - Tuesday thru Saturday 7:30am to 4:00pm or 1A - Sunday thru Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Attention to Detail: You can spot a missing item from a mile away and have the patience to handle even the most minor discrepancies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Problem-Solving Skills: You possess critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve work-related issues effectively.
• Experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with AS400 and/or warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
• Tackle additional tasks as they come up—if you’ve got the skills, we’ve got the challenge!

Responsibilities

• Organize, monitor, and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations, ensuring everything is in its rightful place.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations for aisle, inbound, and outbound inventory, maintaining precise stock levels.
• Track and update product movement, identifying and correcting inventory discrepancies to ensure accuracy at all times.
• Investigate recurring inventory issues and work to determine the root cause, helping prevent future discrepancies.
• Properly manage inventory at varying status levels (e.g., on-hand, on-order, damaged) and ensure proper handling for each.
• Operate a Sit-Down Forklift to assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and other warehouse tasks as needed.
• Work alongside customers, receiving, and sales teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
