About The Position

In this role, you will support daily inventory and materials operations to ensure accurate tracking, secure storage, and timely availability of materials used in manufacturing and maintenance activities. This role requires sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to independently troubleshoot inventory and materials challenges, manage competing priorities, and collaborate across functions to maintain operational efficiency. Requirements

  • 1+ years of related experience related to the areas of inventory management and/or materials control
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP tools.
  • Experience performing cycle counts, tooling inspection, or materials coordination.
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Basic experience working with inventory, warehouse, manufacturing, or materials management processes.
  • Ability to perform basic inventory tracking and documentation tasks with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain control and accuracy of multiple inventory types, including indirect materials, tooling, and services.
  • Obtain pricing quotes from vendors for all indirect purchases.
  • Ensure inventory is secure, properly labeled, and accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records.
  • Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
  • Verify quantities and documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Receive packages and ensure proper storage or distribution of materials.
  • Support inventory put-away processes to maintain organized and efficient storage locations.
  • Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to analyze inventory levels and ensure tooling and materials availability.
