About The Position

DPP is seeking an Inventory Associate II for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace industry. This is an onsite role in Van Horn, TX, for a 3-month duration, with a Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM shift. This is a W2 contract position.

Requirements

2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including receiving and inventory functions.
Strict adherence to established safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE, following safe operating procedures, and participating in safety training.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
World-class quality attitude, attention to detail, and dedication.
Communication skills within a highly technical environment.
Mathematical skills.
Analytical skills to define problems, collect appropriate and relevant data, establish facts, and draw reasonable conclusions.
Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
Must be able to operate forklifts.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory experience in the aerospace or automotive industry.
Electronic pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, monitor, and escalate roadblocks that could cause downstream defects.
Support root cause analysis and provide details with problem-solving skills.
Operate heavy equipment, primarily PIT equipment/forklifts, including electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), forklifts, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks.
Unload shipments delivered by carriers.
Visually examine incoming shipments to determine if they are acceptable according to standard operating procedures.
Review requirements for each part number and process according to standard operating procedures.
Use tools and equipment to systematically upload, store, and close out receipts or work orders according to standard operating procedures.
Input data directly from physical deliveries into an inventory management tool.
Navigate through modules and read information within the inventory management tool for specific tasks.
Identify appropriate packaging for parts and properly wrap/store parts.
Move and secure packages, boxes, crates, and other storage containers within the workflow to prevent loss.
Ensure all parts are labeled and marked according to standard operating procedures for analysis.
Properly store parts using good judgment and standard operating procedures, whether individual or in bulk.
Audit parts storage according to standard operating procedures.
