About The Position

DPP is seeking an Inventory Associate II for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace industry. This is an onsite W2 contract position in Hutto, TX, with a duration of 3 months. The shift is Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including receiving and inventory functions.
Strict adherence to established safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE, following safe operating procedures, and participating in safety training.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
An attitude of world-class quality, attention to detail, and dedication.
Communication skills within a highly technical environment.
Mathematical skills.
Analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
Must be able to operate forklifts.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory experience in the aerospace or automotive industry.
Electronic pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, monitor, and escalate roadblocks that could cause downstream defects.
Support root cause analysis and provide details with problem-solving skills.
Operate heavy equipment, primarily PIT equipment/forklifts, including understanding operational mechanics, safety procedures, and maintenance practices.
Operate electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), forklifts, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks to move heavy parts/material.
Unload shipments delivered by carriers.
Visually inspect incoming shipments to determine acceptability according to standard operating procedures.
Review part number requirements and process according to standard operating procedures.
Use tools and equipment to upload, store, and close out receipts or work orders.
Input data into an inventory management tool directly from physical deliveries.
Navigate through modules and read information within the inventory management tool for specific Fulfillment tasks.
Identify appropriate packaging for parts and properly wrap/store parts.
Move packages, boxes, crates, and other storage containers securely within the workflow.
Ensure all parts are labeled and have identifiers as outlined in the standard operating procedure.
Properly store parts using good judgment and standard operating procedures.
Audit parts storage according to standard operating procedures.
