About The Position

The Inventory Assistant is responsible for unloading food and supply deliveries, organizing products, and ensuring inventory is accurately counted and recorded. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our inventory management processes at LIFECARE ALLIANCE.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in unloading deliveries and managing inventory counts
  • Experience in organizing and maintaining inventory spaces
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or inventory environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Unload trucks and deliveries, ensuring all items are received in good condition.
  • Accurately count and manage inventory, recording any discrepancies.
  • Organize and maintain inventory areas to ensure easy access and efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure inventory processes are followed and improved upon.
  • Assist in the implementation of inventory management systems and practices.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report issues or improvements needed.
