Great American RV SuperstoresHammond, LA
Onsite

About The Position

At Great American RV, we don’t just sell RVs; we help people realize their dreams of travel, freedom, and adventure. With dealerships located across the Gulf Coast and thousands of families served, we take pride in being a trusted partner for every journey. We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Part-Time Inventory Photographer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality photographs and videos of our extensive inventory of recreational vehicles (class A/B/C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and toy haulers). Your work will directly impact our digital storefront, helping online buyers get an accurate, engaging, and premium first impression of our inventory.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital photography (experience with automotive, RV, or real estate photography is a major plus).
  • Familiarity with smartphone photography apps, and basic photo editing software; utilizing mobile apps and cloud-based inventory software to upload media directly from the field (e.g.: Canva, Photoshop and Illustrator).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively to meet weekly upload quotas.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, light rain).
  • Stamina to be on your feet, walking the lot, and climbing in and out of RVs for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and reach to capture low and high-angle shots.

Responsibilities

  • Take consistent, well-lit, high-resolution exterior and interior photographs of new and used RVs in accordance with company staging guidelines.
  • Efficiently upload, organize, and tag media files to our digital inventory management system/Dealer Management System (DMS) in a timely manner.
  • Minor staging of units prior to shooting (e.g., turning on interior lights, opening slides/blinds, clearing minor debris, and ensuring the unit looks presentable).
  • Work alongside the Media Manager and coordinate with the sales, service, and detailing teams to identify which units are ready for photography and move efficiently across the lot.

Benefits

  • Part-Time (approx. 10–20 hours per week).
  • Flexible weekday hours (optimal lighting hours preferred; occasional Saturdays may be required based on inventory flow).
  • $15 per unit uncapped (10-15 units per day on average, and our top photographer shoots over 20 on a good day).
