SUMMARY Responsible for coordination of estimated materials as defined by Engineering and Production departments in the ERP system to the actual physical material usage.

Requirements

High School education required.
3 - 5 years of experience in a MRP based environment with direct inventory counting and/or reconciliation responsibilities In the ERP system.
Knowledge of production, material control, and manufacturing processes,
Knowledge of material procurement procedures, and awareness of marketplace conditions.
Must have excellent written, oral communications, administrative, and data entry skills
Must have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must have ability to work both within a team, and as a facilitator among several different teams.
Must be a highly effective communicator with vendors, co-workers, management, and customers.
Microsoft office Proficient
Ability to apply concepts of basic math and algebra
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, industry standards, as well as quality and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to convey detailed material and process requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, vendors or employees of organization.

Nice To Haves

Four-year degree from an accredited college or university degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor all inventory transactions including internal manufacturing consumption, external material purchases, and subcontracting costs.
Monitor materials as they are processed through the various manufacturing processes.
Monitor existing procedures and introduces new procedures to ensure materials are correctly issued to projects and customer orders.
Initiate and manage inventory cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy thresholds.
Organize, plan, and lead semi-annual plant wide inventory event.
Monitor material returns, inter-plant transfers, and other production related inventory transactions.
Coordinate with Production department to ensure accurate and timely production reporting.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
