About The Position

As part of the Supply Chain team reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, the Inventory Analyst position will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and availability of inventory. He or she will perform a high level of data analysis and entry to ensure inventory is in the right location, quantity, and labels. He or she will work with employees from various departments to meet these goals for accurate inventory. This position is based on-site at our Allentown, PA plant.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of inventory control experience preferred
  • 3+ years of warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage/review inventory transactions in our ERP system to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Process Packaging worksheets and job travelers from manufacturing
  • Ensure material reporting is processed within 24 hours of receipt
  • Support activities involving the cycle count process within Syteline
  • Document/maintain procedures for all inventory-related processes
  • Participate/lead in the analysis of material flow in/out of the warehouse, manufacturing floor, and distribution center
  • As may be required, support inventory audits of customer-owned inventory
  • Research and correct inventory discrepancies in the materials management group
  • Identify best practices and seek out process improvements for our growing company
  • Follows supervisor/manager directions
  • Demonstrates dependability and reliability by maintaining good attendance
  • Follows all Company safety rules/procedures, and abides by all Company policies
