About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking an Inventory Analyst. This position is ONSITE Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm at our Greenwood SC Eaton facility. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy, supporting cycle counts, analyzing variances, and supporting production through effective material tracking and control. This role ensures proper inventory processes are followed and supports continuous improvement through analysis and reporting. The Greenwood, SC Eaton facility, designs and manufactures medium voltage switchgear and is known for it’s engineered to order solutions that support complex infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree from an accredited institution
  • Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Greenwood, SC facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Nice To Haves

  • Mapics/As400 Experience and Forklift Experience
  • 2 years of work experience in supply chain
  • 2 years of work experience with inventory management
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing inventory environment
  • Lean/CI Certifications, experience, or training

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between Purchasing and Warehouse teams to ensure alignment, communication, and efficient material flow.
  • Manage inventory levels and Days on Hand (DOH) through continuous improvement initiatives, data analysis, and effective planning in collaboration with Operations and Engineering.
  • Oversee daily cycle counts by coordinating with cycle counters and auditing results to ensure accuracy and achievement of KPIs.
  • Identify and communicate risks or gaps impacting monthly performance targets; develop and implement mitigation strategies in partnership with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team.
  • Lead the Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory process by working cross-functionally with Finance and Engineering to proactively reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
  • Coordinate and analyze daily inventory activities, including adjustments, stock checks, and Kanban reviews/requests to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve inventory control procedures to enhance warehouse efficiency and operational performance.
  • Follow company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
