About The Position

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs. This role plays a critical part in preventing overstocking and stockouts through data-driven forecasting, sales trend analysis, and ongoing performance monitoring. Acting as a bridge between procurement, sales, and warehouse operations, the Inventory Analyst ensures efficient product flow and accurate inventory control across the organization.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
  • Knowledge of LEAN principles and continuous improvement methods
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Valid passport and driver’s license, with the ability to travel within Canada and the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Syteline, IFS, or similar ERP systems

Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory data and sales trends to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Track inventory movements and performance to reduce shortages, excess stock, and aging inventory.
  • Investigate inventory variances, reconcile discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy.
  • Partner with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination and product availability.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze dashboards and reports tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), including inventory turnover, fill rates, and stockout risks.
