The Invasive Cardiology Operations Specialist is responsible for planning, supervising, implementing, and evaluating the patient care of each patient, ensuring compliance with patient care standards. The role involves consulting with staff, physicians, and the Manager on patient care, throughput, and supply chain problems, as well as interpreting hospital policies to meet patient needs. The specialist must demonstrate the ability to manage pressure, meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, handle constantly changing situations, deal with a variety of people, manage stressful situations, and resolve conflict. All assigned job duties and tasks must be performed, and compliance with all requirements, regulations, and procedures of any licensing board or agency, as well as Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures, is mandatory. Requirements

  • Operating Room Technician Certificate or graduation from an accredited Radiological Technology program or graduation from an accredited school of cardiovascular technology or at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, supervises, implements and evaluates the patient care of each patient through compliance with patient care standards.
  • Consults with staff, physicians and Manager on patient care/throughput/supply chain problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
  • Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
  • Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency.
  • Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.
