About The Position
The Non-Invasive EKG Cardiology Tech contributes to the efficient operation of the Non-Invasive Cardiology department while promoting the philosophy of SEH to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.
Requirements
- Successfully complete and pass EKG recognition test
- High School graduate or equivalent
- BCLS certification required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation
- Basic typing and computer skills
Responsibilities
- Performs EKGs
- Applies Holter Monitors to patients
- Assists in management of finalized Holter Monitor reports and importing them into Epic
- Maintains stock on EKG machines throughout the hospital
- Assists in the management of EKGs within Muse & Epic
