About The Position

Seeking an Intrusion Analyst to perform deep packet inspection, protocol analysis, and reverse engineering of complex network data. The successful candidate will analyze network communications, identify protocol structures and behaviors, and support both offensive and defensive cyber mission requirements.

Requirements

  • Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
  • Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Associate's degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
  • Strong networking and protocol-analysis experience
  • Demonstrated experience performing deep packet inspection
  • Experience reverse engineering or deobfuscating network data
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and communications architectures
  • Experience supporting cyber operations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with GENESIS/XKS
  • Experience with FP, MP, or schema development
  • Experience supporting both offensive and defensive cyber missions

Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep packet inspection and detailed network traffic analysis
  • Reverse engineer and deobfuscate network protocols and data
  • Analyze packet structures, message formats, schemas, and protocol behaviors
  • Develop or modify protocol-processing capabilities
  • Support cyber analysis involving offensive and defensive operations
  • Identify anomalies, vulnerabilities, and technical characteristics within network communications
  • Document reverse-engineering results, protocol specifications, and analytical findings
  • Provide technical recommendations to cyber and engineering teams
