About The Position
This is a part-time position under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Business Sciences. The instructor will perform all aspects of instruction for the Introduction to Computers course, providing guidance and instruction necessary to prepare students with the fundamental concepts and operations necessary to use computers. Classes are taught at Osborne High School, with instruction offered 5 days per week, Monday through Friday. Adjunct Instructor positions are part-time and appointed on a per academic term basis, with no expectation of employment beyond the current term.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Business, Computers, Business Education, or a related field.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Business Management or CIS preferred
- MS Office Specialist certifications
- Experience with online instruction in a postsecondary setting
- Experience with Blackboard or other online learning management systems
- Postsecondary teaching experience with computer-assisted instruction, instructional technology, and student advisement/registration
