About The Position
This is a part-time position at Chattahoochee Technical College, responsible for providing instruction on the fundamental concepts and operations necessary to use computers. Classes are taught on multiple campuses, including Paulding (Dallas, GA) and Canton (Canton, GA), and can be scheduled for day, evening, or online sessions. Adjunct Instructor positions are appointed on a per academic term basis, meaning employment is limited and there is no expectation of continued association beyond the term.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Business, Computers, Business Education, or a related field
- Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Business Management or CIS preferred
- MS Office Specialist certifications
- Experience with online instruction in a postsecondary setting
- Experience with Blackboard or other online learning management systems
- Postsecondary teaching experience with computer-assisted instruction
- Postsecondary teaching experience with instructional technology
- Postsecondary teaching experience with student advisement/registration
Responsibilities
- Performs all aspects of instruction for the Introduction to Computers course.
- Provides guidance and instruction necessary to prepare students with the fundamental concepts and operations necessary to use computers.
