About The Position

This course, Introduction to Psychology: Applications (PSY1502 Section D00), will be offered during the Winter 2027 semester at the Main Campus. The course covers heredity, environment, and human development, intelligence, personality, mental health, abnormal behavior and therapeutic approaches, and social psychology. The instruction language is French, with passive competence in a second language required. The course is proposed to be delivered in person.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Psychology
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the different fields of Psychology

  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Introduction to Psychology: Applications (PSY1502 Section D00).
  • Maintain the assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
  • Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be canceled.
  • Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor in case of an anticipated absence.
