This course focuses on the instantaneous rate of change as a limit, derivatives of polynomials using limits, and derivatives of sums, products, and composite functions. It also covers derivatives of rational, trigonometric, logarithmic, and radical functions, with applications in maximums, minimums, and graphical representations. The course delves into concavity, inflection points, and the second derivative, along with optimization problems involving polynomial, rational, and exponential functions. Additionally, it covers two- and three-dimensional vectors, including Cartesian, polar, and geometric forms, algebraic operations, dot product, and cross product. Applications include projections, parallelogram area, parallelepiped volume, and equations of planes and lines in parametric, scalar, and vector forms in two and three dimensions. The course also addresses intersections of lines and planes, and solving systems of up to three linear equations with three unknowns using elimination or substitution, including the geometric interpretation of solutions. Mobius will be used for this course.
