About The Position

Karat is seeking talented engineers to join their Interview Engineer Community. This is a contractor/freelancer opportunity where work is compensated based on tasks performed. Interview Engineers facilitate technical interviews with software developers globally, aiming to create inclusive hiring processes by mitigating bias, improving hiring signals, and completing objective evaluations. These skills are essential for hiring and managing teams in both startups and large enterprises.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Engineer
• Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) with a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills
• Reliable access to a working webcam, microphone, and a stable Internet connection

Nice To Haves

• Experience conducting technical interviews is preferred (e.g., data structures, algorithms)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate technical interviews through Karat's platform, creating an enjoyable candidate experience while evaluating fundamental coding skills and technical knowledge.
• Provide input on candidate performance, coding style, communication skills, knowledge question answers, and coding approach.
• Collaborate with Karat to test content, processes, and products.
