About The Position

Ashby is seeking a versatile and persistent Senior Product Engineer who is comfortable setting up reusable building blocks across the technology stack and advocating for the resources to do so. In this role, engineers ship features end-to-end at a high pace, acting as guides and leaders through example. Ashby offers a unique environment that combines the agency of an early-stage startup with the scale of a growth-stage company, allowing engineers to write product specs, make product and design decisions, and build in a low-meeting culture while serving tens of thousands of daily users. The company has notable customers like Notion, Linear, Shopify, and Snowflake, with strong growth and retention metrics. The team is expanding, with a focus on supporting Talent Acquisition through software and building products beyond this initial domain.
