Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Vascular-Intrvn Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date required. General Radiography required in addition to Vascular Interventional Radiology required.
  • State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required. General Radiology and state licensure required by hire or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
  • Must hold ARRT registry and WI State License in Radiography.
  • One year IR experience preferred.
  • Advanced level credential in Vascular and Interventional (VI) through the ARRT required within 15 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

  • Position patients and optimize technical parameters to capture the highest quality diagnostic images.
  • Execute complex, specialized imaging and interventional procedures, including vascular and non-vascular cases, in close partnership with the physician team.
  • Administer contrast media and essential medications safely and accurately, fully complying with all state and federal regulations.
  • Monitor the patient's well-being and procedural protocols in real-time, ensuring a secure and safe care environment.
  • Uphold a rigorous standard of radiation safety and regulatory compliance throughout all procedural activities.
