Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of residency in Radiology
Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Radiology
Strong understanding of interventional techniques and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Commitment to continuous professional development and education
Must be board-eligible

Nice To Haves

Breast read experience is not required but is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology procedures with precision and skill
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient assessments
Communicate with patients regarding their treatment plans and procedures
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with medical advancements
Conduct research to support evidence-based practice
Mentor junior medical staff and provide guidance on complex cases
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards in patient care
Perform procedures excluding breast procedures
