About The Position
Baptist Health is currently looking to add an Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist to our Special Procedures Department at Baptist Downtown, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity. As an Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographic images, functioning as a member of a team performing interventional procedures, and working under sterile conditions, very similar to the OR. You will also promote goodwill among co-workers and other departments, and have a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients. Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements. Must participate in on-call coverage. Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy. This Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist will be located at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL.
