Interventional Radiology Nurse, Special Procedures, Baptist Clay
About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse to our Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology team at our Baptist Clay location in Jacksonville, FL. This Registered Nurse position is a Full Time days working rotational 4- 10 hour day shifts (M-F). This Registered Nurse will also participate in rotating call and holidays. This Registered Nurse for Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology will do placements for IR lines, filters, and catheters. This Registered Nurse for Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology may also assist with monitoring patients in MRI who have implants or devices as well as assist in other radiology departments as needed.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
- 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
- Hospital Experience
Responsibilities
- Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
- Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case
- Assisting the Interventional Radiologists
- Placements for IR lines, filters, and catheters
- Monitoring patients in MRI who have implants or devices
- Assisting in other radiology departments as needed
