About The Position

This position is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist in a Tertiary Hospital setting. The shift is 5x8s, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Each technologist has a daily caseload of 4 procedures. On-call duties are required on a rotation basis with two other techs, including every third weekend. This role does not require floating between units or facilities. First-time travelers are accepted. The position requires 1 year of experience in General IR. Experience in Neuro IR is preferred. BLS, ARRT (R), and SCQRSA certifications are required. A radiation badge must be provided by the agency, as the facility does not provide them to travelers. Block schedules may be accommodated with manager approval, dependent on unit needs. Locals within a 60-mile radius are not accepted. All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission and will be approved based on facility needs. The facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. OR scrubs are provided by the facility. Charting is done via Epic. Parking is free. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Requirements

1 year of experience in General IR.
BLS certification.
ARRT (R) certification.
SCQRSA certification.
Must have a radiation badge provided by the agency.
Must be able to work a 5x8s schedule, Mon-Fri, 8a-4:30p.
Must be available for on-call duties and every third weekend.

Experience in Neuro IR.

Responsibilities
