About The Position

Interventional Radiology performs an array of procedures ranging from central venous catheter placements/replacements, diagnostic angiograms, Y-90 mappings/treatments, Gastrostomy tubes, Perc Nephrostomy tubes, Peripheral artery disease leg cases and other vascular related procedures. The role involves a 10-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday shift every 13 weeks. Weekend call and backup shifts are expected due to the procedural nature of the work. The facility is a Short Term Acute Care Teaching Hospital with 1259 beds and uses EPIC for charting. Parking is available for a monthly fee or free for night shifts, with public transportation options also available.

Requirements

  • ARRT R certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience.
  • Must have C-Arm and Contrast experience.
  • First-timers accepted with 2 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • ARRT VI preferred.
  • 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Experience with Siemens and GE ultrasound.

Responsibilities

  • Perform central venous catheter placements/replacements.
  • Conduct diagnostic angiograms.
  • Perform Y-90 mappings/treatments.
  • Insert Gastrostomy tubes.
  • Place Perc Nephrostomy tubes.
  • Handle Peripheral artery disease leg cases.
  • Perform other vascular related procedures.
  • Be available for weekend call (1-2 times in a 13-week assignment).
  • Provide backup coverage as needed, potentially once a week.
  • Float within scope to meet facility needs.
  • Operate C-Arm and utilize contrast experience.

Benefits

  • Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. Cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned.
