About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist with scrub experience for our Cath Lab/IR procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology training and be proficient in performing fluoroscopy during cardiac and interventional radiology procedures. This position involves on-call responsibilities, including every fourth weekend and one day per week, as well as holiday rotation. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week, from 0700 to 1730.

Requirements

Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA-approved school.
Must be licensed in the State of Ohio.
ARRT registered.
Assume on-call responsibilities.
Hold current CPR certification.
Visual acuity of 20/20 or corrected to 20/20 including color vision when applicable.
Ability to hear (with or without aides).
Ability to orally communicate.
Good manual dexterity.
Ability to push, pull, roll, and transfer/lift 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to stand and walk frequently.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel frequently.
Ability to perform CPR (if required for position).

Nice To Haves

Cath lab and in-procedural experience.
Procedural techs that can do fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities

Perform scrub duties during Cath Lab/IR procedures.
Utilize fluoroscopy during interventional radiology procedures.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
Participate in on-call duties, including every fourth weekend and one day per week.
Rotate through holiday call schedules.
Maintain current CPR certification.
Meet physical requirements including visual acuity, hearing, oral communication, manual dexterity, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and performing CPR.
