Interventional Radiology Technologist - Full-Time - Days - Weill Cornell
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their team at the Weill Cornell Hospital. In this role, you will operate specialized Angiography equipment within the lab, supporting and assisting in minimally invasive procedures for the diagnosis of patient conditions. This is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility, but it plays a critical role in maintaining the hospital's premier level of quality. You will have the opportunity to use your expertise in Interventional Radiology to assist with the diagnosis of rare and complex cases and expand your knowledge alongside respected professionals in the field.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiology
- New York State License in Radiologic Technology
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of vascular anatomy/terminology and interventional equipment
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and barriers
- Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.
