About The Position

Cleveland Clinic Health System is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for Florida Weston Hospital in Weston. Interventional Radiology develops and applies imaging to guide minimally invasive techniques used to diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions. The technologist assists with diagnostic and clinical procedures and performs imaging techniques to help detect pathologies accurately and clearly. The role offers opportunities to gain experience and develop within the Cleveland Clinic system while contributing to patient care. The position works days plus on-call shifts, with schedules of 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and rotating weekend requirements. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available. Work hours may exceed eight hours per day depending on the work required. The role requires use of personal protective equipment as appropriate and compliance with standard precautions.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
Registered through the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
Florida license and a General Radiographer (RAD).

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience as an Imaging Technologist in an acute care imaging setting.

Responsibilities

Perform technical procedures to detect pathology.
Perform routine imaging, emergent, invasive, and special procedures.
Support, educate, and assist patients and caregivers to improve patient care and workflows.
Safely operate equipment and maintain standards while performing procedures.
Maintain a safe, clean, and economical operation.
Coordinate and answer questions regarding scheduling, patient information, networking, and informatics.
Document in the chart upon completion of procedures.
Complete and send electronic data.
Provide copies of imaging studies.
