The Interventional Radiology Technologist will conduct routine diagnostic radiological procedures, ensure compliance with radiation safety, and manage imaging processes. This role involves patient positioning, technical adjustments for optimal imaging, processing digital output, and maintaining meticulous documentation. The technologist will also perform system calibrations, quality control tasks, identify and report equipment errors, and initiate repair protocols. Additionally, they will monitor for adverse reactions to contrast media, advise on patient conditions, and be prepared to implement emergency resuscitation protocols.
