Requirements

• Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) radiography program
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology at time of hire
• Current license issued by the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRTB)

Responsibilities

• Assists the radiologist with invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, which utilize advanced radiographic imaging equipment.
• Responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to patients of all ages for diagnostic and/or research purposes, providing patient services, and performing radiographic procedures, including all aspects of fluoroscopic and digital imaging data acquisition and processing.
• Scrubs in to assist with catheter and guide wire manipulation and assists with providing optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age of the involved patient population (ages 0 to death).
