About The Position
Virtua Medical Group is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its Interventional Radiology team, supporting services at Our Lady of Lourdes and Virtua Willingboro Hospital. The position offers a collaborative, physician-led practice with Interventional Radiologists, a diverse patient population, and broad procedural exposure. The APP provides comprehensive patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings, splitting coverage between the two hospital locations on a Monday–Friday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations, consultations, and follow-up visits.
- Perform history and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with Interventional Radiologists.
- Coordinate care with referring providers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Assist with pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure management.
- Provide patient and family education regarding procedures and treatment plans.
- Participate in hospital rounding and inpatient consults.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
