About The Position

The Department of Radiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, Nebraska is actively recruiting for a board-certified interventional radiologist with outstanding credentials to join their team. This is a 100% IR position based at the University campus, also supporting satellite locations for Nebraska Medicine. The division performs approximately 8,000 procedures annually and the medical center has comprehensive transplant services. Successful candidates will have a strong interest in academic radiology, including teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with dedicated academic time for teaching, CME, and potential research. UNMC is Nebraska's only public academic health sciences center, committed to education, discovery, and leading-edge care, aiming to improve health across Nebraska and globally. Requirements

  • M.D.
  • Board certified in Radiology
  • Fellowship or additional training in Interventional Radiology
