Interventional Radiologist - Full Time Or Independent Contractor - Radiology Partners Borderlands
About The Position
Radiology Partners Borderlands is seeking a full-time or independent contractor Interventional Radiologist to support its practice at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The role provides inpatient and outpatient coverage at one site and involves approximately 70% interventional radiology and 30% diagnostic radiology, including diagnostic reading between procedures as needed. The physician should be proficient in all aspects of interventional radiology and perform a wide range of IR procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in full-week blocks, with no partial shifts, nights, weekends, or call responsibilities. Full-time candidates are offered a competitive salary and benefits, with partnership opportunities. Independent contractor candidates receive competitive shift-based pay plus a travel stipend. Memorial Medical Center is a 199-bed, Level IV trauma center. Radiology Partners Borderlands supports hospitals and outpatient imaging centers throughout New Mexico. The position is based in Las Cruces, a growing southern New Mexico city near the Organ Mountains and White Sands National Park.
Requirements
- Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
- Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), with residency training in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Medical license in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain one.
- Willingness to work in full one-week blocks, Monday through Friday, with no partial shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide interventional radiology coverage for inpatient and outpatient cases.
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures and be proficient in all aspects of IR.
- Read diagnostic imaging between procedures as needed.
- Provide coverage for one site, Memorial Medical Center.
