About The Position

RP Valley is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist for an independent contractor role in Phoenix, Arizona. The position is 100% interventional radiology, with flexible shifts and scheduling options and a minimal monthly shift commitment. The practice offers competitive compensation and a collaborative, high-volume environment with strong clinical support and state-of-the-art facilities equipped with advanced imaging technology. The role has no responsibility for mammography, nuclear medicine, or musculoskeletal imaging. RP Valley is a subspecialized group of more than 30 radiologists with a history dating back to 1961. The practice provides services at three Banner Medical hospitals in the Phoenix area, including designated stroke centers and a Level I trauma center, as well as 11 outpatient imaging centers. Its culture promotes compassion and collegiality among team members. The position is based on-site in Glendale, Arizona. The listed schedule/shift is weekend. The salary range is $400,000–$525,000; final compensation may vary based on factors including education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

Requirements

Arizona licensure.
Board certification by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, or board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
BLS certification.
ACLS certification.
DEA registration.
Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
Strong procedural skills and expertise in performing a wide range of interventional procedures.
