About The Position
A thriving physician-owned and physician-led group of over 40 radiologists is seeking an Interventional Radiologist for their state-of-the-art facility in Lynchburg, VA. This health system prioritizes a flexible and family-friendly work-life balance. The practice has 10 locations across NC and VA and is awarded the Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. This is a partnership track position with excellent compensation and benefits, including J1 waiver/H1B visa sponsorship. The role involves all facets of Interventional Radiology (IR) and some general diagnostic work, with opportunities for leadership and growth in an established oncology program. The group utilizes web-based PACS with shared worklists for efficiency, offers home workstations, and provides opportunities for extra shifts. There is also potential for real estate investment in imaging centers and joint ventures.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist.
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
- J1 waiver/H1B visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities
- Perform all facets of Interventional Radiology (IR).
- Conduct some general diagnostic work.
- Act as a local practice leader and grow an established oncology program.
- Participate in equitable IR call rotation (1 in 3 to 1 in 4) with a low call-back rate.
- Utilize web-based PACS with shared worklists for efficiency.
- Work extra shifts for pay in a fair and equitable system.
