About The Position

Prime Healthcare is seeking Radiology Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to support and expand hospital-based imaging services across their Greater Chicagoland area hospitals. The recruitment is across multiple radiology service lines, welcoming candidates interested in a collaborative, high-quality, patient-centered environment. Opportunities are available for Diagnostic Radiologists, Interventional Radiologists, Breast Imaging / Mammography Radiologists, Physician Assistants (PAs), and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) supporting Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology services. The practice highlights include a hospital-based setting, a diverse case mix encompassing inpatient, outpatient, and emergency imaging, modern imaging equipment, advanced technology, strong collaboration with hospital leadership and clinical teams, and opportunities for both full-time and part-time roles.

Requirements

  • MD or DO (for Physicians)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology (for Physicians)
  • Eligible for Illinois medical licensure (for Physicians)
  • Ability to obtain hospital privileges and credentialing (for Physicians)
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program (for Advanced Practice Providers)
  • Active or eligible Illinois licensure (for Advanced Practice Providers)
  • Strong communication and clinical skills (for Advanced Practice Providers)

Nice To Haves

  • Fellowship training preferred for subspecialty roles (IR, Breast Imaging)
  • Experience in Radiology or Interventional Radiology preferred (for Advanced Practice Providers)

Responsibilities

  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies (CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine as applicable)
  • Perform image-guided procedures (for Interventional Radiology roles)
  • Breast imaging interpretation and procedures (for Breast Imaging roles)
  • Participate in on-call coverage as required
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure timely, high-quality patient care and reporting
  • Assist with Interventional Radiology and procedural services
  • Perform patient evaluations, follow-ups, and documentation
  • Coordinate care with radiologists, nursing staff, and referring providers
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient procedural workflows
