About The Position
Join a growing, patient-focused pain management practice seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician. This is an excellent opportunity to build a busy practice with strong referral relationships while providing advanced, minimally invasive treatments for acute and chronic pain.
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in New Mexico
- Strong procedural skills and commitment to outstanding patient care
Nice To Haves
- Fellowship-trained in Interventional Pain Management preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pain conditions
- Perform interventional procedures including: Epidural steroid injections, Nerve blocks, Radiofrequency ablations (RFA), Spinal cord stimulator trials and implants
- Perform additional fluoroscopy-guided pain procedures
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Document patient care using an electronic medical record (EMR)
