About The Position

OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Pain Medicine Physician to launch and grow a comprehensive Interventional Pain Management program within our expanding Neuroscience Service Line. This is a unique opportunity to build a new service from the ground up while helping to address a significant unmet need in the Rockford region. As neurosurgical and spine volumes continue to grow, demand for interventional pain management services is rapidly increasing, creating an opportunity for immediate practice growth and long-term program development. The practice is dedicated to interventional pain treatments and procedures, and this position does not include chronic pain medication management. Practice in a state-of-the-art environment with dedicated procedural space on campus, either within the hospital or Hospital Outpatient Department (HOD), with access to advanced imaging resources, rehabilitation services, and operating room capabilities. Join a highly collaborative neuroscience team and work closely with Neurosurgery, Neurology, Primary Care, Oncology, and other referring specialties. Perform a broad range of interventional pain procedures and treat a diverse patient population with spine, musculoskeletal, neuropathic, and cancer-related pain conditions. This is a 100% outpatient practice with no inpatient responsibilities and no outreach clinic requirements. The clinic is located within the Neuroscience Center and within walking distance of the hospital campus. The schedule is flexible Monday-Friday with 36 patient-facing hours and 4 hours of administrative time weekly. Strong procedural volumes are anticipated from day one due to significant community demand and an established referral base. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in OSF HealthCare's strategic investment in expanding neuroscience services throughout Northern Illinois.
