About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Interventional Pain Management Physician trained in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) or Anesthesiology to join a growing medical team at busy offices in Dover and Seaford, Delaware. The physician will work with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate and treat a variety of pain conditions and age groups, with a focus on quality care, evidence-based medicine, and a team approach. The practice uses conservative measures when possible and offers interventional treatments when appropriate, including discography, epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, intradiscal treatments, joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, SI joint injections, Vertiflex interspinous stabilization, intrathecal drug delivery systems, spinal cord stimulators, and endoscopic rhizotomy. The organization provides physicians with strategic leadership, operating infrastructure, and financial resources within a supportive practice environment. Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) or Anesthesiology.
Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management.
MD or DO degree.
Current, active Delaware license.

Responsibilities

Examine and evaluate patients, including reviewing medical histories and relevant imaging or studies.
Provide direct patient care, including diagnoses and treatment plans for a wide variety of pain types and conditions.
Perform interventional procedures as medically necessary.
Refer patients for imaging and consultation with other specialties as needed.
Regularly reassess patients to determine treatment effectiveness and progress.
Educate patients about diagnoses, treatment options, post-procedure care, and lifestyle modifications.
Coordinate treatment plans with patients and other team members.
Complete accurate and timely documentation.
