About The Position

The Interventional Nurse Navigator is responsible for managing the care of identified patients with interventional GI and Pulmonary needs, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, to ensure access to high-quality care throughout the continuum. This role serves as a single point of contact for patients, caregivers, and referring physicians, providing resources and assistance with accessing clinical and supportive care services offered by Northside Hospital and community partners. This position requires a nurse with advanced training and skill, experienced with Interventional GI or pulmonary procedural patients, and a willingness to work flexible hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
  • Three (3) years of clinical experience in GI or Pulmonary services.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with culturally diverse populations.
  • Strong working knowledge of healthcare systems and community resources.
  • Able to establish strong working relationships within a healthcare system.
  • Previous experience in project management or case management.
  • Masters of Science Degree in Nursing.
