Interventional Cardiologist – Coronary & Peripheral Vascular

Kace Premier Medical Talent•Jacksonville, FL

About The Position

An established, high-volume private cardiology and peripheral vascular practice in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist. The role combines coronary and peripheral vascular intervention and is suited to a physician with strong peripheral vascular skills or a significant interest in developing a high-volume peripheral practice. The practice has substantial existing patient and procedural volume and a diverse referral network. Structural heart training is not required. The practice maintains an established peripheral vascular and endovascular program with complex procedural volume, as well as a busy venous program. It offers comprehensive cardiovascular diagnostic and ancillary services, office-based procedural capabilities, experienced advanced practice providers, and registered vascular and diagnostic technologists. A new ambulatory surgical facility is under development as part of the practice’s expansion, alongside expanding outpatient procedural capabilities. The physician will provide inpatient cardiology consultation and rounding at a nearby hospital with comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional capabilities. Hospitalists or primary care physicians manage admissions, so cardiologists function primarily as consultants. Call is approximately 1:4–1:5; after-hours responsibilities are generally telephone-based, with the physician responding when necessary to urgent interventional cases such as STEMI or acute limb ischemia. The role includes limited satellite clinic responsibilities and advanced practice provider support for hospital rounding. Compensation is a guaranteed annual base salary of $700,000–$850,000, plus a productivity bonus. Benefits include paid relocation, health insurance, a CME allowance, paid time off, professional dues, medical malpractice coverage with a tail contribution, a cell phone, and a laptop.
