About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for an Interventional Cardiologist at a hospital in Gettysburg, PA. The role requires clinical coverage and call responsibilities from August 28, 2026, to November 27, 2026. The physician will provide interventional cardiology coverage, including hospital consultations and outpatient/inpatient cardiac catheterizations. Responsibilities also include performing and interpreting TEEs, echocardiograms, and cardiac windows, as well as managing STEMI call and general cardiology services on weekends. Timely documentation and communication with referring physicians are essential.

Requirements

• Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC)
• BC or truly BE in Interventional Cardiology
• DEA required
• Hospital Privileges Required

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology coverage including hospital consultations and outpatient/inpatient cardiac catheterizations
• Perform and interpret TEEs, echocardiograms, and cardiac windows
• Manage STEMI call responsibilities including weeknight beeper call and weekend in-house call
• Cover general cardiology services on weekends as needed
• Maintain timely documentation and communication with referring physicians
