About The Position
We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Gadsden, AL. This inpatient role requires clinical coverage and call duties from ASAP through December 31, 2026. The physician will be responsible for IP consults, STEMI call, cardiac catheterizations, and interpreting echo reads. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center utilizing the Cerner EMR system, with support from one APP. Temporary privileges are available.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Licensed in AL or IMLC
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- ATLS certification
- ABLS certification
Responsibilities
- Perform IP consults
- Handle STEMI call
- Conduct cardiac catheterizations
- Interpret echo reads
- Rounding on patients
