About The Position

As a Physician in Interventional Cardiology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide seamless 24-7 On call services, and work with our hospitalists who manage adult inpatient population and a12 bed ICU. You will practice at Intermountain Medical Group & St. James Hospital in Butte, MT. This position includes a daily rate of $1,320/24 hours on call and $346 per on-site hour.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• ACGME accredited residency training in Interventional Cardiology
• ABMS board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology
• Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• BLS certification and DEA
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

Responsibilities

• Provide seamless 24-7 On call services
• Work with hospitalists who manage adult inpatient population and a 12 bed ICU
• Cover all patients (assigned, unassigned, etc.)
• Provide 24/7 STEMI care (average 4 STEMI/month)
• Provide care for a broader spectrum of services including NSTEMI
• Perform Echo and EKG reads
• Perform Stress Testing
